Grant Writing
Since 2008, Mitzi has worked independently and on teams to write successful grants for nonprofits and individuals in the arts, education, environmental, and wellness industries.
Working with the City of St Petersburg’s Office of Sustainability and Resiliency, she helped draft a grant for the Bloomberg Climate Challenge, which awarded the city $2.5 million in resources in 2019. In addition, Mitzi has helped organizations secure funding from the National Endowment for the Arts to host visiting national artists and for restoration of artworks, among other projects.
